Supporters Toward Veteran Success

With thousands of veteran organizations trying to help veterans in so many ways, we decided to add this page to help simplify and identify others who focus on veteran business needs.

Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF)

VEN Founder Tom Daly, first came across the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) several years ago as he was searching online for Lean Six Sigma certification programs. To say he was stunned when he came across IVMF’s website and programs would be a HUGE understatement because it’s only 20 minutes from where he lives. Not only does this organization have exceptional programs for veterans of US military service, it also supports their families! Tom was so impressed by what they do, he thought it was important to share IVMF’s information with our network so others all could benefit.

A little More about IVMF  – IVMF has a rich history with Syracuse University and over the years they’ve created a partnership to embolden their efforts to reach out, train, help position, and support the entrepreneurial efforts of servicemen as well as provide incredible resources and benefits to their families. One of the reasons they’ve partnered with Syracuse University (SU) is because SU’s history and commitment serving veterans, their families, and the military community as a whole.

IVMF Programs – The IVMF and its staff of more than 100 professionals deliver class-leading programs in career, vocational and entrepreneurship education and training, providing service members, veterans and their families with the skills needed to be successful in education, work and life. The IVMF also coordinates comprehensive collective impact strategies; and works with communities and nonprofits to enhance service delivery for veterans and their families.
